Israeli Cats

Cats are not treated the same way in Israel as they are in Canada. I have yet to see a domesticated cat. They all seem to be strays and I've only seen them scavenging in the markets and at outdoor cafés.

Interesting eyes on that scavenger cat.

He looks affectionate, but it's probably just a ploy.

Starving for affection! These cats are virtally ignored by most people. Tourists are the only ones who show any interest. The fur of the cats that I've touched feel scruffy. Most people touch the cat and then move on. I showed it a bit of attention and it was glued under my chair the whole night... or maybe it was because I'm a slob and kept dropping food?!

I’m surprised the wild, scruffy cats are so affectionate. Surprised and jealous because my cat is so damn evil and all this time I thought it was because he had feral roots.
